At Samoter 2008, BOMAG showcases under the roof of the FAYAT group the latest innovations as well as a representative cross section of its current and new product program.
The world market leader in compaction, now a full liner whose product range comprises both finishers and milling machines, exhibits as a highlight for the first time in Italy its first original 7 t tandem roller BW 154, particularly suited for customers working on small or medium scale construction sites, such as urban road construction or the construction of agricultural roads.
Another highlight will be the brand new finisher BF 600, showing the BOMAG concept for the future finisher series. Currently the full range extends from 5t up to 20t high-performance finishers. In all, the finisher series includes 4 tracked and 3 wheeled models (all with 2x6, 4x6 or 6x6 drive) as well as 5 screed types with optional electric or gas heating. The new BF 600 finisher will also be available in wheeled and tracked versions.
Similarly the range of milling machines is constantly being refined by BOMAG, lately by the BM 1000/30 with 1000 mm, the BM 1200/30 with 1200 mm and the BM 1300/30 with 1300 mm working width in the 300 hp class. In Verona, the star will be the BM 1300/30, thanks to its manoeuvrability particularly suited to minor roads, inner-city work and roundabouts.
