Veronafiere will present Samoter 2011 in Paris
Image restyling, new international communication strategy and focus on sustainable constructions

Paris during Intermat - the International Exhibition of Equipment, Machinery and Materials for the building industry scheduled 20-25 April - will see the first official presentation of Samoter 2011.

The Veronese event has chosen Paris as the location for presentations to the international press, clients and trade associations on the Samoter stand (B002, Hall 6) in the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition sector.

The objective of this participation is to illustrate with data and initiatives the 28th edition of Samoter in 2011 on the strength of impressive results at the last edition - the best performance in terms of exhibitors and visitors since the creation of the event.

The 2008 edition in short welcomed 1,026 exhibitors (+4.2% over 2005), of which 30.70 % international (+8.62% over 2005) from 36 countries in a net exhibition area of 131,156 square metres (+13.5% compared to the 2005 edition).
The show in turn attracted 106,857 visitors – 95,488 Italian (+11.12% over 2005) and 11,369 international (+16.22% over 2005). Very interesting results emerge as regards the quality of visitors: 75.4% were decision makers (managing directors, directors, company managers, owners and buyers) *.
Success was also achieved with the press: 602 accredited journalists, of which 40% international, more than 50 Italian and international media partners, 692 articles published all around the world. Lastly, 268,000 visitors surfed the portal dedicated to the event with 2 million pages visited.

The new communication strategy for Samoter 2011 starts with restyling of the entire image of the international exhibition, where the claim “A touch of respect” will indicate the orientation of the new edition towards construction sustainability.
Important investments in international promotion will see Samoter attend all the sector exhibitions, while a capillary communication policy in geographical areas of specific interest equally highlight VeronaFiere's intention to involve increasingly more international countries in a global project that will certainly be interesting but especially reliable from the point of view of business and the point of view of relationships.
